“Like many classic car owners I have owned my mustang since I first started driving. I had always wanted to have an engine built for the car but thought it would be something that never happened until I was retired and had more money. One day on my way home from work I drove past Andrew’s shop and decided to stop in and dream a little. After talking with Andrew for a few minutes he quickly proposed an option for a build that would be feasible for me. the beginning goal was a 302 SBF motor making roughly 350hp. Andrew and I began talking about the parts for the build and that’s where the initial goal was altered. Andrew seemed just as excited as I was about the motor and I have an inability to choose the cheapest parts available which resulted in the build well exceeding the original power numbers. “My name is Lee and I had the privilege of meeting Andrew at just the right time before I paid another company too much of my hard earned money for an engine that was not what I wanted, nor what I wanted to pay. So Andrew took the time to talk to me about what my truck was, tire size, gear size, and what I did with my truck.   And he asked me a question that none of the other shops asked, “WHAT DO I WANT ?”   When he asked me that It made me feel like he actually cared, and wasn’t just trying to get me out the door.  I talked to several shops and every shop did the same thing, they offered me 1 option and said “here this is what you want-need, this is the price yes or no?”  But Andrew didn’t do that he took the time to show me about 4 different build options, and I got to choose what I wanted. So I ended up picking a few things I liked about each option to make my own 5th option.   At this point I was still undecided whether I was going to give my business to Andrew or not but then When talking about the build with Andrew about my options and how much power I could get for my money he said something  to me that put away all doubts that I had about him and his abilities. He said and I quote “I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO SACRIFICE QUALITY TO SAVE TIME, AND I WILL KEEP TRACK OF EVERY ONE OF YOUR HARD EARNED PENNIES.”  Whenever he said that I knew he was the engine builder for me.  He stayed in touch with me throughout the entire build to keep me in the loop, also I liked the fact that he shook my hand with respect and always looked me in the eyes while talking to me.    Now my new 388 stroker is built and he did the cam break in already and it sounds great, soon I hope to have it in my truck and start enjoying it.”
